Just a Few Minutes Every Day, and Your Body Will Gradually Feel Lighter
Do you often feel tight shoulders and sore lower back? Don't worry, change doesn't need to be exhausting. Incorporate gentle light exercises into your daily life. For example, do a few simple movements when you wake up in the morning or feel drowsy in the afternoon, combined with deep breathing, which can help promote smoother circulation of qi and blood, allowing your body to naturally stretch.

A Simple Tip: Morning Micro-Stretch
This exercise requires no equipment and can be done using the edge of the bed or the floor. It is suitable for people who just woke up, those who have been sitting for a long time, or those who feel stiff.
Exercise Steps
- Stand naturally with your feet shoulder-width apart and knees slightly bent.
- Inhale, slowly raise both arms from the sides overhead, palms facing each other.
- Exhale, slowly bend your body to the right, let your right hand extend naturally, feeling the left side of your waist being stretched, hold for two breaths.
- Inhale back to center, exhale and bend to the left, holding for two breaths as well.
- After returning to the center, lower your arms and gently shake your hands and legs to relax your entire body.
Breathing Coordination
Throughout the process, maintain nasal inhalation and exhalation. When inhaling, stretch your spine; when exhaling, relax and sink down. Don't hold your breath or force the range of motion—just make it comfortable.
Why Is This Effective?
This gentle side-bending movement helps unblock meridians on both sides of the body and promotes the circulation of qi and blood. Combined with deep and prolonged breathing, it helps relax the nervous system and relieve tension in the shoulders and back. It's a balanced combination of movement and stillness, not tiring but very effective, embodying the essence of daily light health care.
Make Light Exercise a Habit
Set a fixed time every day, such as in the morning or before bedtime, perform 3 to 5 side bends, and combine them with a few natural breaths. After maintaining this for some time, you will find your body more flexible and your mood calmer. Remember, going slow is actually faster than rushing.
